Case Study: Social Conversation
Case Study: Social Conversation
In this analysis, Labs analyzed the correlation between The Tie's Sentiment metrics and Fully Diluted Value (FDV) rank. The analysis revealed that the number of Twitter accounts tweeting about a given coin was strongly correlated with FDV, as well as overall Tweet volume. Further, the number of News articles for a project increased alongside FDV. Finally, Labs concluded that several other measures like Daily Sentiment and % of Tweets with Positive Sentiment were less related to a token's FDV rank.
Case Study: Token Performance
Case Study: Token Performance
In this analysis, Labs explored whether announcements/other go-to-market initiatives were associated with increased performance relative to competitors. Over a 12-month period, Labs concluded that performances varied from month to month, likely a result of changes in the market's receptiveness to corporate actions, and token issuer decisions around making announcements.
Case Study: On-Chain Users
Case Study: On-Chain Users
A Labs client asked how on-chain initiatives (e.g. airdrops) might foster usership on their blockchain. The analysis revealed that our client's airdrop initiative was successful in fostering increased transactions for at least one week following the campaign, with a 600% increase in overall transactions in the week following the airdrop. There was also a sustained increase in on-chain transactions in the weeks following, implying that these types of initiatives can potentially drive increased on-chain activity.
Case Study: Developer Activity
Case Study: Developer Activity
In this analysis, Labs explored our client's development community and its geographic distribution relative to competitors. Labs concluded that while our client's development community is distributed globally, there is considerable opportunity to increase their developer talent to rival their competitors. Out of this analysis, Labs highlighted areas of opportunity, where competitors have a higher concentration of developers, empowering our client to consider running hackathons or other incentives to attract developer talent in specific regions.
