Service Terms: Events Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of tickets for The Tie conferences (each a “Conference").  By purchasing a ticket and/or attending the Conference, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.  Please read them carefully.

Ticket Purchase

• All requests for tickets must be approved by The Tie in its sole discretion, and The Tie reserves the right to deny tickets for any reason without liability.  The Tie's decision regarding ticket approvals is final and binding.
• Tickets must be purchased exclusively through our official ticketing platform or provided directly by The Tie for your use.  Any tickets obtained through unauthorized channels are void and invalid.
• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, except as specified in these Terms.
• Each ticket admits one person to the Conference and must be presented at the entrance for admission.

• Refunds will only be issued in the event of a Conference cancellation for other than a force majeure event, or as required by law.  To request a refund, please contact our customer service team within 30 days of the cancellation announcement; legitimate requests will be processed within 15 days of receipt.
• Service fees and transaction charges are non-refundable.

Code of Conduct

• Attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully during the Conference, including all Conference-related events and activities.
• Harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
• Violations of the Code of Conduct may result in expulsion from the Conference without a refund.

• By attending the Conference, you grant The Tie and its designated representatives the irrevocable right to photograph, film, and record you during the Conference, and to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and publicly display such content worldwide, in perpetuity, without compensation to you, solely for promotional and other purposes related to the Conference and The Tie's business activities.
• Attendees are not permitted to record sessions without prior written approval from The Tie’s legal team.

• The Tie is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to property that occurs during the Conference. 
• Attendees agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Tie, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the "Conference Organizers") from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to their attendance or participation in the Conference, including any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.

• For The Bridge, all attendees and Speakers must agree to the “Release For The Bridge” and associated disclaimers which can be found at https://bridge.thetie.io/terms-of-use
• For Innovate, all attendees and Speakers must agree to the “Release For Innovate” and associated disclaimers which can be found at https://www.innovate.thetie.io/innovate-terms-of-use
• For Out East Summit, all attendees and Speakers must agree to the “Release For Out East Summit” and associated disclaimers which can be found at https://www.outeastsummit.com/terms-of-use

• The Tie reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.  Any changes will be posted on our official website www.thetie.io.
• Continued use of your ticket and attendance at the Conference constitutes acceptance of these changes.

• These Terms are governed by the laws of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York for all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Conference.
